The Mews Room at The Coach House - Windermere

Formerly a coach house built in 1890, The Mews Room at The Coach House is situated in the heart of the Lake District and 2 minutes’ drive from Windermere town centre and the shores of Lake Windermere. Free off-road parking forrooms except our Single Room. Excellent WiFi is provided through out the property.

An en suite shower room is included in each room at The Mews Room at The Coach House, as well as a TV and teacoffee making facilities. Some feature cast-iron beds and antique furniture.

Continental breakfast is delivered to your room between 08.00 and 09.00 to be enjoyed in your own space. Packed breakfasts can be arranged for early risers wanting to get up and out early.

A local train service runs from Oxenholme station to Windermere and the property are 10-15 minutes’ walk from the station. Many activities are available with the Lake District National Park, such as riverside strolls, cycling through forests or hiring a boat or kayak.

The Mews Room at The Coach House is ideal for those looking to discover the local area and its attractions. Consequently, we have implemented a curfew to guarantee that our guests are not disrupted during their rest at night. The curfew is in place from midnight to 6:30 a.m. Additionally, a quiet policy is in place from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. to ensure that the property remains tranquil forto appreciate.

The hotel day starts from hour 16:00 and ends at 10:00.
